The catalyst bed support grid(also called the supporting grid or hold-down grid) can handle either random or structured packing materials.
Support Grids are designed to provide sufficient strength to support catalytic beds under normal operating conditions while at the same time without creating any capacity restriction in the column, a suitable support grid selection depends on the type of catalyst as well as the maximum design load.
Our catalyst bed support grid adopts a wedge wire screen structure and metal wire materials(can be stainless steel, fiberglass-reinforced plastics (FRP), metal, or plastic). They are the filtering elements for retaining catalyst media.
Usages of catalyst bed support grid
Used in petrochemical and refining industries. Desulfurization reactor, cracking reactor, reaction vessel, high-temperature shift reactor gas, desulfurization reactor, packing chemicals, molecular sieve...etc.
Features of catalyst bed support grid
1. Strong self-supporting construction
2. Non-Clogging
3. High-precision slot sizes
4. Low-pressure drop and high open area
