Description
Description

Sieve bend screen, also named DSM screen, is a curved concave wedge bar type of screen made of stainless steel wedge wires. Wedge wire DSM screen is manufactured by welding the stainless steel V-shaped profile wires to the wedge wire support rods.

Sieve bend screens are widely used in various industries such as papermaking, chemical, mining, food, starch and sugar-producing, and water treatment.

The application includes solid-liquid separation, fiber recycling, sewage treatment, slurry concentration, etc.

Sieve bend screen, also named DSM screen, is a curved concave wedge bar type of screen made of stainless steel wedge wires.

Optimizing your separation efficiency

The sieve bend screen (or DSM screen) is an important and effective solution in size classification and dewatering fine particle slurries in heavy minerals processing applications. Sieve bend screens are a low-cost, quiet, and efficient part of your screening process. The curved screen of the sieve bend provides greater capacity than flat wedge screens due to increased gravitational forces on material flowing against the curve, offering higher material throughputs.

When to use sieve bend screens
Generally, sieve bend screens are used when the proportion of water in the solids is high.
Specific application scenarios:
For example, the process of removing contaminants from sand; performs the dewatering function before the slurry centrifuge when dewatering pulverized coal.
Screening principle:
The screened material is about half the size of the slot aperture.
The shape of the particle, the volume of undersize, and the amount of near-size material in the feed determines the separation size as well as the volume that passes through the screen.
